Offering lessons for children and youth

Book reviews

Pupils will be introduced to the latest books of the last two years, thus providing pupils with the opportunity to choose age-appropriate fiction to read. The surveys are applied to interest groups - primary and lower secondary school students. In each group, special attention is paid to the original works of Latvian authors, as well as to the original works of neighboring Estonian authors. Book reviews can also be prepared at the request of teachers prior to diagnostic work. (Grades 1-4)

Literary lessons

Literary lessons are dedicated to a specific writer or poet who has a significant anniversary. This year it is Juris Zvirgzdins. During the lesson, students will learn interesting facts about a particular writer or poet, as well as learn about his literary work. Literary lessons are age-appropriate.
