Runcis Brass invites to create a board game

The aim of the competition is to make children interested in reading by creating games, strengthening the characters, authors, events of the books read during the target program, as well as to motivate them to read and get to know other books; encourage group work and learn how to make games from start to finish.

The competition initially takes place in schools. Then the best games are delivered to the Gulbene district library, where the best games will be selected until the Big Reading Festival.

The last date when we are waiting for the best games in the Gulbene district library is March 31.

The game format is a board game. What exactly the game will be like - it's a free choice. It is desirable that it can be played for not too long.

The competition is open to both class groups and students individually. Games submitted to each age group will be judged separately. There will be four groups - 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade and 7th-9th grade.

The award ceremony will take place at the Reading Festival of Gulbene region on May 27.
