Zilveris Valdis (1963), composer, teacher

Composer, teacher Zilveris Valdis was born on July 28, 1963 in Gulbene.

He studied at the Gulbene Music School, then at the Theory Department of the Ventspils Music School, in the composition class of the Latvian State Conservatory. He has also studied electronic music in America, the Netherlands and Denmark.

V.Zilveris writes a lot of music for theater performances. The first connection with the theater came from studying and working at the theater faculty.

V.Zilveris is one of the creators and participants of the actors' ensemble "Greizais ratiņš".

V. Zilveris is currently working as a lecturer at the Academy of Music.
