Baltiņš Kārlis (1906-1991), financial officer
Born on April 14, 1906 in Lejasciems Jaunsēta home.
He graduated from Viļa Olava Business School in Riga, and obtained a master's degree in economics from the University of Latvia.
Work begins at Gulbene Primary School. In Riga he is a teacher and manager at the Evening Business School, later a teacher and inspector at the French Lyceum.
During his exile in Germany, he was an inspector and director at the Latvian Gymnasium in Eslingen.
In 1950, he moved to the United States and became a banker.
Head of the Latvian Credit Union in Minneapolis.
Founded by the Latvian Association, head of Garezers Summer High School.
Died on November 17, 1991 in Minnesota, USA.
