From the history of the library:
Stradu Parish Library was founded on October 13, 1951 in "Priednieki". For many years (1963 - 1970, 1972 - 1993) this library was managed by Stanislav Graudina. Since 1995, the library has been an integral part of Paliena village.
Ineta Masa has been the head of the library since 1993. From 1988 to 1993 she worked in various Gulbene district libraries. Graduated from Riga Technical School of Culture and Education.

- Database "Letonika" and "Lursoft Newspaper Library"
