The library is closed to visitors on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.

From the history of the library:
The library was founded in 1975 as the 2nd library of Ranka Parish. There is already one library in the center of Ranka parish. However, for the residents of the village of Ranka cardboard factory, the people of Rēvļi and Ūdrupe, it was far away. The library received the premises, the first books (420 copies) and the first material assistance from the Ranka cardboard factory trade union. In 2003, the library changed its name. Now it is the Gaujarēviļi library in Ranka parish. From 1975 to 2018, the library was managed by Elizabete Ķīse, while from 2018 to the beginning of 2020, the library manager was Baiba Juraža. Currently, the head of the Gaujarēviļi Library in Ranka Parish is Tamāra Gončoronoka.
