From the history of the library:
In September 1895, I.Rītiņš started working as a teacher at Ranka Luther Primary School, who became very active in public life. In the spring of 1896, the library association was founded. In 1938/1939, the Ranka Guard Department owned a library with 1,500 volumes. After World War II, the library resumed its work in 1945. The first librarian Vera Vasiljeva. From 1976 to 2017, Ranka Parish Library was managed by Arita Bogdanoviča. From January 2, 2018, the head of the library is Anda Ješkina. She has a bachelor's degree in social sciences from the Latvia University of Agriculture.
