During the reign of Pastor Paul Emil Schatz (1837-1854), a library was set up at the expense of the pastor for the inhabitants of the parish, where books were handed out to those who wanted to read.
In 1911 the library association was founded. In 1918 a public library was established. Librarian Panty. After the Second World War, the library resumed its work in 1946. The library has relocated many times. For some time, the library has been located in the current Old School-Museum, then in the old House of Culture - the former consumer association house, but then for a long time it was in the old village council. This is how the library really found its place with the construction of the new administrative building in 1982.
