"Using digital services in solving everyday life situations"

From May 22 to 26, the lessons of the informal adult education program "Using digital services in solving everyday life situations" were held. During 5 days, the participants had the opportunity to improve their knowledge in searching for information, using e-services, media literacy, as well as the basic principles of safety in the digital environment. The participants completed various tests to determine their level of digital skills and actively participated in the entire learning process.

The participants admitted that the lessons were intense and that the most difficult topics were learning the portal latvija.lv and using the internet bank. Another participant expressed the opinion that it was valuable to talk about security on the Internet, because until now he had not thought about this topic.

The training took place in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture within the framework of the project "National coordinators for the implementation of the European program for Latvian adult education".
