The end of the "Minies with the Librarian" season Publicēts: 20.09.2019
The project "Minies with a Librarian" initiated by our librarians started in June this year as a light relief after a working day. However, it became more! With the success of the changing number of participants, each trip was prepared with special care - planning the length of the route, the objects to be visited, identifying the owners of the objects, inviting international project partners who visited Gulbene, representatives of the municipality and every resident strength and will to pedal with librarians.
Despite the cool autumn, September 19 was officially marked as the final stage of the project season. We visited Elvīra and Ēvalds Melbergs homestead "Vecjūgkalni" and ceramics workshop "Samiņi", where Bruno Bēka manages.We drove a total of 20 km. On the way home, we couldn't catch the last sunny greetings, but we felt the beautiful autumn with all our fingers!
"Minies with the Librarian" is a very successful, interesting, environmentally friendly and cohesive event.
