Viesturs Ķerus about the idea of the book "Forest Girl Maija":
"The initiator of the thought was my younger brother, who said I could write something for the kids. When I started writing, I didn't think it would really be a book. It was more fun. The idea was to write something educational for the kids about birds, but at the same time, although it can be read, because there are many educational stories that are so educational that they are boring to read, that was just the initial thought. where I had become too instructive, Inese Zandere polished it while editing the text. The educational element still remains there, but it is still more about nature. "
The cycle of events “Nature (T) breath in the library” is supported by VKKF.
