The first meeting of the "Green Choices" cycle Publicēts: 1.05.2019
The diversity of plants in today's fast-paced rhythm is diminishing. Recognizing how co-responsible we are for the processes that take place in nature, the conservation of plant species is one of the essential stages in the sustainability of nature. In order to delve into the important parts of the plant life cycle and change with the plants and seeds we took, on April 25 we met Sandra Stabingi, a gardener and pioneer of eco-business in Latvia, at the Gulbene Regional Library.
Folding the seed markets out of paper, the participants of the event listened to Sandra's story about both the need for plant diversity and the peculiarities of the seeds they took with them. The stories alternate with active activity, putting the seeds collected and picked by Sandra in the folded seed markets.
Thanks to everyone who got involved and was inspired to cherish the newly acquired seeds. See you at the next Green Choice event!
