Latvian public media ombudsman Anda Rožukalne will give a public lecture at the Gulbene county library

On Thursday, September 22, everyone interested in Gulbene region is invited to a conversation with Latvian public media ombudsman, RSU professor Anda Rožukalni.

The law enforcement agency plans to discuss the following topics:

Media self-regulation and professional ethics
What does and how does the public media ombudsman work?
How any media user can find answers when in doubt about the content and quality of public media
A. Rožukalne will share actual examples, answer the audience's questions. We will also talk about topical issues of public media and media professional ethics in general - war and conflict journalism, pre-election coverage in public media, etc.
