On the operation of Gulbene district libraries during an emergency situation

Due to the extension of the emergency until January 11 and stricter security measures and restrictions, the libraries of Gulbene region will be closed for on-site visits from December 21. Discontinued books. Access to remote library services will be provided.

In the period from December 21 to January 11, Gulbene district libraries will be closed to visitors. No penalty will be charged for books and magazines that are not delivered between 21 December and 11 January, and the delivery deadlines for books and magazines will be automatically extended. During this time, we invite you to read 3TD e-books on the website www.3td.lv.

Gulbene district library will provide access to remote library services:

  1. Remote services in the reading room of local history and humanities:
    • All kinds of thematic inquiries (by phone, e-mail, online).
    • Support in writing scientific research papers (inquiries, sending materials electronically).

Remote services are provided on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00, except on public holidays (December 23 and 30), when services are provided from 9:00 to 15:00. Remote services will not be available on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of the emergency.
