Access to computers in libraries has been restored since June 2

From June 2, reading rooms in Gulbene district libraries are open for individual visits, as well as access to computers has been restored. Books continue to be issued.

From Gulbene district library from June 2:

  • Restored computer access to:
    • make payments;
    • browse email;
    • contact state and local government institutions;
    • print the necessary information;
    • to learn.
  • The library accepts individual visitors (1 person or 1 household resident).
  • Arrival at the library only with a face mask.
  • Hand disinfection is mandatory when entering the library.
  • There is a one-way movement in the library.
  • The adult service department can accommodate a maximum of 3 visitors at a time.
  • The children's library can accommodate a maximum of 3 visitors at a time.
  • The reading room for local history and humanities can accommodate a maximum of 2 visitors at a time.
  • The information center can accommodate up to 2 visitors at a time.
  • Book transfer to book transfer facility only.

Stay time in reading rooms up to 1 hour. The maximum time allowed to work with a computer is 30 minutes. Please notify us in advance:

From June 1, the library services are provided on weekdays from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays the library is closed.

If you have not yet registered in the Gulbene County Library as a reader, please use this time to do it!

  • If you want to access the electronic book catalog in addition to registration, ask the librarian for access details.
  • Registration is also possible by filling in the FORM .
