The activities of the project "Children of Happiness. Kokariem - 100" begin

On May 31, the Gulbene Regional Library of the project “Children of Happiness. Kokariem - 100 ”gathered 11 young people in a creative lesson. We got involved in various activities together - we tried to recognize the Kokarus brothers in photographs, we found out what we already know and what we want to know about the legendary choir conductors Imants and Gido Kokaris, who will celebrate their centenary this year. Thanks to writer Laima Kota, who shared her story about the Kokari brothers, inspiring young people!

The project was supported in the cultural project competition “Vidzeme Culture Program 2021 supported by the State Forest and State Culture Capital Fund” announced by the Vidzeme Planning Region.
