Gulbene district library offers a service - receiving books using a smart bookcase or parcel terminal. This makes it easy to pass on contactless books to the reader. The use of the parcel terminal is free of charge and is available to every user registered in the Gulbene district library.

How do I apply for a book withdrawal?

When your books are ready to be distributed, the librarian will contact you to find out how you would like to receive them, either in person at the library or by contact via a parcel terminal. If you choose to use the parcel terminal, you will receive a text message as soon as the books are placed in the parcel terminal.

Where is the parcel terminal?

The parcel terminal is located outside, at the main door of the library, so it is convenient to receive books for people with disabilities.

How can I remove my order?

You will be able to remove the ordered books by entering the unlock code received in the text message on the parcel metal numeric keypad. Each code is 6 digits long and can be entered by pressing the '*' key (asterisk). Each time a valid code is entered, the corresponding door is opened. An erroneous code sounds three audio signals.
