Pupils and teachers read excerpts from books, tried to understand which book everyone likes best.

Since September 2020, students of grades 1-2 of Tirza Primary School and pre-school children aged 5-6 have been diligently participating in the reading promotion competition organized by VKKF.

The project “Writer in the Countryside” supported by VKKF has been completed, in cooperation with two libraries of Gulbene region - Druviena and Lizuma parishes.

On November 5, the writer Laura Vinogradova, who is the author of both children's and adult books, visited the Lizuma Parish Library. This time the audience was children, 1st grade students of Lizuma Secondary School with teacher Gunita Gicuk.

On November 7, one of the brightest young Latvian writers, Inga Žolude, visited the Lizuma Library.

As part of the thematic series of exhibitions "Library Readers' Hobbies", the collection of matchboxes "Through the Times and Places" of Mārīte CINGLERE from Litenė can be seen in the library of Litene Parish.

Adult non-formal education programs "Get inspired. Learn. Radi." first activity in Litene Parish Library - informative and practical lesson "Fragrant self-help - aromatherapy" - IMPLEMENTED!

On March 7, a meeting was held at the Tirza Parish Library with Inesa Prisjolkova - the author and publisher of the books, the head of the Positara Thinking Center for Positive Thinking, in the lecture “Leading Thoughts and Mind in Promoting Self-Growth”.

On February 8, the children of Tirza Primary School got acquainted with the many books of the artist Margarita Stāraste.

June 23 Tirzmalietei (Anna Dzelzkalne) - 140. Known to the people as the author of the song "I will sing for you, Fatherland". The song has become a kind of anthem in many events.
